Who Is To Blame? by The Given Heart

They told us we will be stars
I never imagined those in our sky,
Emerged from within us as scars.
These children we see today,
We were once like them.
Let’s keep them safe so they won’t be astray.
Risk is what they breathe in
Like smoke from an unprincipled flame.
Caring starts with one person.
